About four years ago, I thought I would try keeping bees just for the honey. Everything was trial and error. After countless magazines and websites, my husband and I thought this would be simple as, what is there to taking care of bees?

We soon found out it's not just collecting honey. We have a few battle scars. So that's how I started making hand creme and lip balm. I made it one day for myself with my own beeswax and everyone that tried it liked it, so I decided to give it a go.

My products are made with natural, local beeswax. The oils are natural, as are the scents and flavors. Some flavors in the lip balm are imitation, but if I can find an oil, I use it.

Everything is done by hand, even the cleaning of the beeswax. I think that makes it more personal. Not to mention, I get to sample everything before packaging it!
